Vegetable Biryani

Serving: 2 people


Oil - 2 tablespoons

Ginger - 2 inch, finely chopped

Garlic - 5 pods, finely chopped

Tomato - 2, pureed

Onion, Potato, Carrot, Beans - 1, finely chopped

Corn - 1/2 cup

Soya - ½ cup, soaked in water

Hungry Jars Biryani Masala - 2 teaspoons

Rice - 1 cup, washed and soaked

Water - 2 cups

Turmeric - ½ teaspoon

Salt, Chilli Powder - according to taste

Green Chilli - 1, chopped

Coriander - for garnish



    Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the ginger and garlic for a minute, add onion and let it brown for a couple of minutes.  

    Stir in the tomato puree and add all the vegetables to the pan.

    Sprinkle the Hungry Jars Biryani Masala, salt, chilli powder and turmeric in the pan and mix everything well. Add in the rice and water to the pan, stir once and put the lid on.

    Let it cook for around 20 minutes on slow flame or until completely done according to your liking. Garnish it with chopped coriander.

    The Vegetable Biryani is ready to be served!
